Note: By booking this option, you are enrolling only in Module II. Latin Fundamentals is a multi-part course series in which participants learn the entirety of classical Latin grammar over the course of three modules. Each module is structured around 10, 90 minute sessions that meet once per week. Please know that a missed session, unfortunately, cannot be made up. However, all notes and session materials will be available to you. This series is for complete beginners, individuals who are returning to Latin after some time away, or anyone with a general interest in learning Latin. Prior experience with Latin is not required. By the end of the series, participants will: - have developed a strong command of classical Latin grammar - have gained the confidence and skill to not just translate, but to actually read and understand real Latin texts - have engaged substantially with a variety of real Latin prose and poetry Participants can expect: - a reading based curriculum - active participation - continued access to all materials even after the conclusion of each module - weekly, low-stakes progress checks - an encouraging, enthusiastic, and judgement free learning environment where questions are welcomed and mistakes are encouraged Purchase of the entire series is not required.
