AP Latin Tutoring & Exam Prep

DESCRIPTION

The AP Latin exam asks a lot of its students: close translation and analysis of Vergil's Aeneid and the letters of Pliny the Younger, sight reading of unfamiliar passages, and analytical essays . In our sessions we'll work through all of it. Together we'll strengthen your translation skills, build the literary and historical context that the essays reward, and practice the specific question types you'll face in May, so nothing on exam day feels unfamiliar. My teaching is always student-centered. In our first session, we'll set goals that frame our time together, and in every session after, I'll prioritize communication: What's confusing? What's clicking? What do you need more of? Ultimately, I work to create a learning environment that's encouraging and genuinely enjoyable, a place where mistakes are simply part of learning, and there truly is no such thing as a dumb question.
