With a PhD in Classics from Columbia University and nearly a decade of teaching experience, I bring both deep subject expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for the language to every session. My approach is warm, encouraging, and entirely student-centered, meaning that there truly are no dumb questions here. Furthermore, I prioritize genuine student learning and understanding of the language as opposed to superficial memorization. In our first session together I make room for a goal-setting conversation that will shape our work together. By working together you will gain confidence in your knowledge of ancient Greek grammar, syntax, and ability to read real ancient Greek texts.
